Peter McClure, LMFT

I specialize in children, teens, and families, and welcome all ages. Clients who typically connect most easily with me include those who are struggling with sadness, worries, emotional swings, suicidality, stressful situations or events, social challenges, anger, or high-functioning autism (Asperger’s). My clients have successfully worked towards their individual goals, including improving their ability to function at home, school and work, improving their mood, coping skills, and motivation, and improving their relationships with family, friends, teachers and coworkers.

Over more than 13 years, I have built expertise promoting positive change in behavioral health roles ranging from in-home, clinic, community and telehealth counseling, autism and behavior support, school counseling, adult and couples therapy, case management, executive leadership, and organization quality improvement. But my best tools for supporting you are my open ears, mind and heart.

Residing in fire-torn Sonoma County, I understand that the strength, resiliency, and tremendous positivity of Californians is rooted in our personal strengths and our connections to one another. Sometimes challenges get in the way of our ability to grow and to engage in all our Golden State and the world have to offer. Together we can overcome those challenges.
